The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has flagged-off a three-day training for 37 Heads of Public Relations and Protocol across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Bauchi.
The theme of this year’s training exercise is “Developing the Proficiency Techniques of UBEC/SUBEB Public Relations Officers towards effectively promoting the core values of the UBE Programme”.
Speaking during the opening ceremony of the annual training in Bauchi, Mr David Apeh, Head of Public Relations and Protocol, UBEC Headquarters, said that the training would aid the public relations professionals in sharpening their PR strategies.
He said it would also strengthen their skills to effectively promote the Universal Basic Education programme’s key ideals and mobilise their various states towards the sector’s development.
