Security Meeting: Kebbe, Tambuwal LGAs Pledge More Support for Troops

 The Chairmen of Kebbe and Tambuwal Local Government Areas of Sokoto State, Hon. Musa Garba Kuchi and Hon. Abba Shehu Tambuwal, have held a joint security meeting to strengthen support for military operations in the two councils.

This was disclosed in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday in Sokoto by the Secretary of Kebbe Local Government Council, Alhaji Shamsudeen Umar Mai’akwai.

According to Mai’akwai, the special meeting, which held at the office of the Chairman of Tambuwal Local Government, focused on measures to further provide support and assistance to troops in order to sustain successes against terrorist attacks in the areas.

He said the meeting deliberated on crucial recommendations aimed at restoring peace and stability for residents of the two local government areas.

Mai’akwai said the two Chairmen commended Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto for relentlessly working to provide all the needed moral and logistics support to the various security forces to stem the tide of insecurity.

The Chairmen also extolled the patriotic and unwavering commitment of the security forces to safeguard the lives and properties of all law-abiding residents of the state.

Mai’akwai added that the strategic session was attended by the Secretaries of the two local governments, Hon. Shamsu Shamsudeen Umar Maiakwai of Kebbe and Hon. Isah Marafa Kagara of Tambuwal.

He quoted the two Chairmen as reiterating their joint commitment to continue to support security agencies with all necessary logistics until full peace and tranquility is achieved in Kebbe, Tambuwal and the state at large.
