Chairman of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh, has said the Nigerian Government should not give in to the negotiating terms proposed by the Boko Haram Terrorist group.

Speaking yesterday at the second meeting of the year for the conference of States Pilgrims Welfare board, (SCPWB), Okoh said: “Those girls that ware abducted are not terrorists. But the members of the terrorists group that ware arrested are terrorists who have taken away countless human lives without any clue as to what their reason is.

“They should not be traded for the men for any reason. Nigerians believe that this Boko Haram group should be tried.”

He noted that although the abduction of the Chibok girls was indeed a great tragedy, the greater tragedy was the existence of the terrorist group in Nigeria.

Okoh, charged all state delegates to express love for themselves and for the country in this trying times.

Speaking earlier at the conference, the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mr. John Kennedy Opara noted that “the Federal Government cannot negotiate with a set of people who remain faceless; yet, you cannot just send a video and expect government to negotiate based on that.”
