In order to mitigate the incessant vandalization of critical public infrastructure in Abuja, the nation’s capital city, residents are enjoined to cooperate with security agencies to tackle the menace.
The appeal was contained in a recent statement from Director of Press, office of the FCT Minister, Anthony Ogunleye.
In the statement, residents are implored to cultivate the habit of reporting to security operatives when they see something unusual.
Also, they are encouraged to call and inform security agencies of what is happening around them concerning vandalization, so that they can quickly nip it in the bud, as timely information is required”, he said.
However, they are assured that relevant agencies of government have put various measures in place to deter the vandals as well as ensure that they are caught and prosecuted.
