Benue APC suspends Gemade, Shija for anti-party

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue state has suspended a former National Chairman, Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Barnabas Gemade and one time House of Representatives member Hon. Terhemba Shija for anti-party activities.
The suspension of the duo was ratified at the State Expanded Meeting of the party held at its secretariat in Makurdi on Wednesday.
State Chairman, APC Comrade Austin Agada decried the manner the two (2)almost worked against the success of the party before and during the just concluded election.
He also, accused them of working in connivance with the Peoples’ Democratic Party to thwart their effort.
“Chief Barnabas Gemade vehemently refused to go with the Constitution of the party. That he lost his ward and the entire Konshisha ocal government area is most appalling . Hon. Shija frustrated the party and worked in connivance with the PDP.
“Both are hereby suspended and are face the party’s disciplinary committee”, Agada stated angrily.
In the same vein, three ward executive officers in the same local government were also suspended for snti-party activities.
