Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has advised the people of Kagara Emirate to be more security alert by restricting their movement to allow the security operatives carry out their assignments.
The Governor gave the advice when he paid Sallah homage on the Emir of Kagara, Mallam Ahmed Garba Gunna the second at his palace in Kagara.
Bago noted that the Emirate has been affected by banditry attacks and that the restriction of movement would help the security operatives in curbing the menace.
He reassured that his administration will ensure the construction of a dual carriageway in Kagara, in line with his urban renewal policy and also ensure the reconstruction of Minna/Tegina road.
Earlier, the Emir of Kagara Mallam Ahmed Garba Gunna the second appreciated the Governor for his efforts so far in ensuring that the people of the emirate enjoyed relative peace.
