A retired Judge of the Federal Capital Capital Territory (FCT) High Court of Justice, Hon. Justice Mwada Balami, has charged president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to fight corruption which had eaten deep into the fabric of the Nation.
He also urged President Tinubu to deem it necessary to create a special government office for pensioners to enable them get their benefits on time.
This, according to him, those in charge of the pension offices are not treating the retirees well, instead they divert their money for personal use.
Balami, who gave the charge while speaking to newsmen during the celebration of his 70th birthday which tagged “God’s Faithfulness” on Sunday in Gwagwalada, thanking God for keeping him alive.
He said he would continue to live a simple life worth of emulation, urging those who are in the corridors of power to help the less privileged ones in the society.
Commenting on the security situation of the country, Balami called on the present government to deem it fit to wage war against insurgents, Boko Haram and other crimes committed by the people in the society
