Mob sets ablaze suspected ritualist in Niger

Suspected ritualist who specialized in stealing children has been set ablaze by a mob that arrested him with two underage girls at Lapai town in Lapai local government of Niger state.
Our Reporter gathered that the suspect simply identified as Sule Sakon Kano, a middle aged man was apprehended with the two under aged girls between the ages of four and five years old respectively.
It was reliably gathered that the victims were sent to a nearby shop to buy some domestic goods around 1:30 pm on Friday while others were going to observe their Friday prayers.
An eye witnessed told our Correspondent that the suspect admitted to have committed the crime and he is to supply them to his agent yet to be identified
The source stated that the area and Lapai town has witnessed several missing children without arrest hence the people took laws in to their hands by killing and setting ablaze the suspect.
It was further revealed that the suspect took to his heel when the people discovered his mission and was apprehended along GGSS burial ground road where he was dragged on the road towards the town and burnt down.
Meanwhile, Police is yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
