A 17-year student of the Government Secondary School, Gboko, in Benue State Terhemba Tyochivir, has committed suicide.
The State Police Public Relations’ Officer (PPRO), Catherine Anene confirmed the incident to newsmen on Friday, in Makurdi.
Anene disclosede Master Tyochivir committed suicide on Thursday, in Makurdi, adding that details of the incident remained sketchy even though the incident was reported at the E Division Police Station Makurdi.
According to her, it was learnt that the incident happened around Akpehe, in Wurukum part of Makurdi.
She added that the deceased was rushed to Bishop Murray Hospital Makurdi where the doctors confirmed him dead.
Meanwhile, our correspondent reports that efforts to talk to father of the deceased, Mr. Kula Tyochivir proved abortive, as he insisted on talking at another time.
