The traditional Chief of Konkole Community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Mohammed Magaji, has charged the FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike to deem it necessary to put Nigerian Army in order over the frequent invasion of their farmland in the community.
The chief, who gave the charge while speaking to Peoples Daily Correspondent in the Community on Wednesday, lamented that farmers in his community had lost almost all their farmland to Nigerian Army.
He added that such actions by Nigerian Army over their farmland were capable of threatening their means of survival as they depend on Agriculture to send their children to schools.
He then appealed to the FCT Minister to consider the interest of the original inhabitants by preventing the military men from taking over their farmland.
Magaji, however, commended the Agora of Zuba, Alhaji Mohammed Umar Bello for the necessary step being taken to speak to the constituted authority over the farmland invasion by Nigerian Army in Konkole Community.
