The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani has presented the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar with documents for 43.746 hectares of land allocated to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) by the Kaduna State Government.
The land is for the development of affordable Post-Service Housing Estates that would benefit NAF Senior Non-Commissioned and Commissioned Officers.
This was contained in a statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State Muhammad Lawal Shehu and made available to the media in Kaduna.
The statement stated that Samuel Aruwan, the Administrator of the Kaduna Capital Territory Authority (KCTA), who represented Governor Sani at the brief ceremony at NAF Headquarters, Abuja handed over the land documents to the CAS. Governor Sani praised the CAS for his leadership and the NAF for its efforts and sacrifices in the continuing fight against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other forms of criminality in Kaduna State and the nation generally.
Aruwan, who is also the Overseer of, the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, assured NAF of the State Government’s commitment to improving the welfare of NAF personnel, and indeed the personnel of all security forces.
