Nigerians have been urged not to be despondent over the present situation confronting the nation but be optimistic for a better country.
This is even as they have been advised not to continually criticize their leaders but pray fo them.
Founder, Faith Women Fellowship Evang. Lydia Idoko gave this advice while speaking with newsmen at a one day prayer session with the theme, ‘the help of God for notable breakthrough’ held at the Church on Monday.
Evang. Idoko who noted that leadership is burdensome, urged Nigerians to pray for their leaders and not criticize.
She also, asked them to be patient and be hopeful for better days ahead.
Hear him, “we should have hope. Hope will give us an assurance that the future is colourful and bright. There will always be light at the end of the tunnel. We should not look at the economy but look up to God. We should not look at our ability but what God can do.
“Once we do not marry our lives to earthly economy, we will have no cause to panic. Yes life is uncertain, you wake every morning, you see different things but the only way to build your life is through your faith in God. People should not look at the economy but what they can do for themselves even if you are a street sweeper, do it the best you can so that you can be attracted; do it with sincerity and truth.
“Leadership is difficult even in our homes, we know how difficult it is to manage, let alone one man leading a whole nation. Let us pray for Nigeria and hope for the better”.
