Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has expressed deep shock over the passing away of Ondo State counterpart, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
Governor Umar Bago in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim described the late Governor as an astute politician who had the passion and determination to better the lot of his people.
The Governor who acknowledged the late Governor’s contributions to the progress of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), said the strong will, demonstrate by the deceased in oder to provide purposeful leadership to the people of Ondo State was unshakable.
He joined all well-meaning Nigerians in praying for the repose of the soul of the late Akeredolu who died at the age of 75 years.
Similarly, Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has condoled with the Kano State Government over the death of the former Speaker, House of Representatives, Ghali Na’abba.
Governor acknowledged the immense contributions of the late former Speaker to the growth and development of Kano in particular and Nigeria in general.
While praying to Allah to repose the soul of the departed, the Farmer Governor encouraged the government and the people of Kano State, as well as the family of late Na’abba, to take solace in Allah in their trying moment.
