By Usman Shuaibu

The Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the FCT, Hon. Christopher Maikalangu, has begged the FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike to create access roads in some communities which include; Takushara, Ketti, Burum, Gidan Kwano, Leka and Kutasa in order to arrest the problem of kidnapping faced by the residents there.
He also said if the communities such as Kabusa, Ketti, Gbawu and other villages get access roads, it would enable the security agencies to chase out the kidnappers in the communities.
Maikalangu, who made the plead during the stakeholders town hall meeting held in AMAC, further appealed to the Minister to establish a police station or division within Takushara axis for the sake of protection of lives and properties.
He then charged the traditional rulers, elected politicians, women leaders, youth leaders as well as other stakeholders to rise up to combat against crime in the territory.
AMAC Chairman used the town hall meeting to commend the Minister for establishing the FCT Civil Service Commission as was being directed by president Bola Tinubu.
