Kwali: Bandits kidnap fulani monarch in Gugwa, demand N1million ransom

The Chief of Fulani popularly known as Diyo alongside his family have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen at Gugwa community, Dafa ward in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The commander of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) in Kwali, Mr. Abubakar Usman, disclosed this in an interview with Peoples Daily Correspondent in his office in Kwali recently.
He revealed that the gunmen demanded for N6million ransom before they reduced it to N1million the day before yesterday.
He said his men and other security agents would remain committed to see that the Fulani monarch and his family gain their freedom.
The Kwali NHFSS Commander called on the entire residents of the area to give useful information to the security agencies that will lead to the arrest of the criminals.
