Senator Kingibe inaugurates hospital in Abuja community

Sen. Ireti Kingibe, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),has committed to delivering quality healthcare service as she laid the foundation for a hospital in Dobi.
Kingibe made this known at the ground breaking ceremony of a hospital in Dobi community a district under Gwagwalada FCT.
She said that the hospital when completed would aid the community greatly.
“ I have just broken ground for this hospital. This community has been in dire need of hospital for a long time now.
“By God’s grace in three months time, you will get the hospital,”she said
Kingibe expressed hope that the hospital when completed would serve the community greatly and reduce their long journey to access healthcare.
According to her , Labour Party is delivering dividends of democracy to citizens and called on Nigerians to cooperate and support the party to work.
“We believe that a new Nigeria is possible.
“If we all join hands, both the people and their leaders. We can make that new Nigeria. We can create it,”she said .
Dr Angulu Danlami ,who spoke on behalf of the community ,said that Dobi is the largest community around the area ,yet it did not have a quality hospital.
“For the first time we are experiencing this kind of project,it is a very good development and the community stand to benefit from it.
“As you can see, Dobi community itself is one of the largest community within this area and other rural that come down to Dobi for treatment.
“Sometimes we have to travel as far as Gwagwalada, and some of the communities will have to travel as far as 20 to 25 kilometres for treatment.”
Danlami said with the hospital now coming close to them,the healthcare challenges of the people would be addressed.
