Kaduna CIPM Nigeria gets new exco

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Kaduna State Branch has elected new executives to pilot the affairs of the institute.
The election by CIPM members and delegates, which is the apex regulatory body for Human Resource Practices in Nigeria established by Act 58 of 1992 represents part of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 28th March, 2024.
Mr. Ogungbuyi Ajibola Emmanuel of Annuels Consulting (Chartered Human Resource Managers leads the new exco as chairman with overwhelming votes of over 85% per cent of the total vote cast, defeating his close rival, Alhaji R.O. Adewara MCIPM (Director of Finance/ Admin) of Railway Properties Ltd a subsidiary of Railway Corporation of Nigeria.
Others elected excos include
Amina Yahaya Bello – Asst Secretary/PRO, Dr. Ramatu Muhammad – Vice Chairperson Linda Edmond -Ex-Officio and T. W. Yakubu – IPC
In his acceptance speech, the new state chairman thanked the Almighty God for his emergence and all the delegates/ members for their overwhelming support for his nominations culminating in his election.
He also expressed gratitude to the immediate past Exco led by Mrs. Tsukunda Wulfu Yakubu, who according to him has done a great job for the branch along with her team. He promised to build on the legacies of his predecessor.
He also appreciated the support of CIPM National Headquarters for their support of the branch and the electioneering process.
He equally, expressed gratitude to the sportsmanship and spirit displayed by his co aspirants and asks him to join him to take the branch to the next level.
In his words, “Now that the election is over, it is time to get to work “ he promised to keep his campaign promises along with his other executive members.”
It was observed that at the AGM where the new leadership emerged was attended by members/ delegates from different industries within the state, including; the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), which produced the immediate past Chairperson the person of Mrs Tsukunda Wulfu Yakubu, Head Corporate Services, BOA, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company which also produced the immediate past Vice Chairperson, Mrs Adeola Adepegba and also executive council member, (Head HR Kaduna Electric), PAN Nigeria Plc, which also produced the immediate past Branch Secretary, Mr. Abdulkadir Yinusa (Head Corporate Services PAN Nigeria Plc) and a host of other delegates.
