The National Chairman of Action Alliance (AA)Dr. Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje has stressed the need for Nigerians to engage in acts strengthening permanent peace and unity in the country.
He stated this in his message to Nigerians on the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, marking the successful end of the Ramadan fast.
Dr.Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje said that peace remained the most veritable foundation for socio-economic development in the nation, saying that without it, such development would elude the citizens.
The AA National Chairman also called on the people to sustain fervent prayers for the prevalence of security, tranquillity and prosperity in the Country.
Omo-Aje remarked that the present economic hardship in the country was not peculiar to Nigeria, he however called on relevant authorities to take more appropriate measures to ease the hardship and bring the situation back to normal.
He urged Nigerians that as they celebrate, they should remember men and women who are working round the clock to ensure the security and safety of lives and property country in their prayers.
Similarly the Chairman of the Kaduna State Inter-Party Advisory Council, (IPAC)Hon. Ahmed Tijani Mustapha, has stressed the importance of unity among Kaduna state residents.
Speaking on the Eid-El-Fitr mood in the state congratulated Governor Uba Sani the Emir of Zazzau, other traditional, and religious leaders and the Muslim Ummah at large on this year’s Sallah celebration, encouraging them to sustain the lessons learned during the holy month According to him, this is a blissful joyous time for families and friends to gather and celebrate Eid-El-Fitr following a fulfilling Ramadan fast.
He however advised that beyond the festivities, Kaduna residents should reflect on their past, present, and future, expressing gratitude to Allah for His continuous blessings, and hold intersections for those at the helm of affairs for a peaceful Kaduna state.
