The Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni has taken decisive steps to address land-related challenges by ordering the registration of all land vendors operating in the state through the Yobe State Geographic Information Service (YOGIS).
Buni stated this during the official launch of a new digital process for land administration and management.
He emphasized the need to curb land-grabbing, racketeering, and scams in the state.
He directed that all land vendors must be registered to ensure proper records and security before engaging in land transactions.
Additionally, Governor Buni instructed various commercial establishments, including filling stations, hotels, bakeries, water factories, private schools, and corner shops, to settle their dues promptly.
He expressed optimism that the implementation of the new process by YOGIS would streamline service delivery and enhance efficiency.
