The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said that it welcomes the surge of millions of Nigerians, especially the youths, into the Party as being recorded in the on-going PDP membership registration and revalidation exercise in all the Electoral Wards across the country.
Towards this end, the party has directed all Wards Executives to ensure smooth and accelerated access to all old and new members who are trooping to its Ward offices for registration. The party said this in a statement Wednesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon Debo Ologunagba in Abuja.
The party declared that the massive public interest and enthusiasm in the on-going exercise is a further confirmation that the PDP remains the Party of choice for Nigerians especially given its robust ideological outlook, internal democracy, inclusiveness and commitment to the wellbeing of Nigerians as evident in PDP’s unmatched record of performance in governance.
The statement by Ologunagba reads, “The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) welcomes the surge of millions of Nigerians especially the youths into the Party as being recorded in the on-going PDP membership registration and revalidation exercise in all the Electoral Wards across the country.
“The massive public interest and enthusiasm in the on-going exercise is a further confirmation that the PDP remains the Party of choice for Nigerians especially given our robust ideological outlook, internal democracy, inclusiveness and commitment to the wellbeing of Nigerians as evident in PDP’s unmatched record of performance in governance, which has been sustained by PDP Governors across the country.”
