Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has reassured the government and people of Katsina State of the Federal Government’s unwavering support in the fight against insurgency and banditry.

Director (Information and Public Relations), said during his courtesy visit to the State, Badaru reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to securing Nigeria from all forms of insecurity threats. He stated that the Ministry of Defence will partner with other security agencies to restore security to the State, ensure a peaceful farming season.
The Minister’s visit to Katsina state military formations is aimed to boost troop morale, assess operational modalities, and explore ways to support the Military in the fight against insurgency.
Governor Dikko Umar, represented by Deputy Governor Alh. Faruk Lawan, commended the Minister’s commitment to ensuring adequate security for Katsina State and Nigeria. He thanked the Minister for his tireless support in ending insecurity in the State.
