Yoruba Council of Obas in 19 northern states mourn Chief of Moroa

The Yoruba Council of Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northern States and Abuja, described the passing of the Chief of Moroa in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr Tagwai Sambo, as a huge loss to the entire Moroa Chiefdom in Southern Kaduna and the State in general.
The Chairman of the Council Amb. Mohammed Arigbabuwo asserted this while speaking to the media yesterday in Kaduna.
The monarch commiserated with Governor Uba Sani, the government and people of Kaduna State, the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU), the Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, the Moroa-In-Council, immediate and extended family members of the deceased stressing that “the entire members of the Yoruba Council of Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northern States and Abuja, are with you in spirit and prayers at this critical period of grieve.”
According to him, the late Chief of Moroa was a man whose place in history is already etched in gold because of not just his quality royal leadership to his people but also his service to the country as a Commissioner for Works and Housing in the then North Regional Government.
He described the 58-year reign of Mr. Tagwai Sambo, as monumental and historic to the people of the Kaduna state and humanity in general.
“He was an exemplary leader whose reign was marked by wisdom, grace, and devotion to his people, and his contributions to the development of Southern Kaduna and Kaduna State in general cannot be overstated.”
