Army begins 4-day competition in Bauchi

As part of efforts to transform the Nigerian Army into a well-trained, equipped, and highly motivated force towards achieving constitutional responsibilities, the Nigerian Army has declared a 4-day competition for training and retraining for soldiers.
The objectives of the competition is to improve the physical fitness of senior officers.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN, Major General Abdussalam Abubakar, who was represented by the Commander 33 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Emmanuel Egbe said this at the opening ceremony of the 3 Division Warrant Officers WOs and Senior Non-commissioned Officers SNCOs competition 2024, at the 33 Artillery Brigade Shadawanka Barracks Bauchi.
The competition was organized by 3 Division for formations and units under the Division’s Area of Responsibility.
