Vice President, Kashim Shettima has paid a condolence visit to Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over the death of his mother in-law, Hajiya Maryam.
The Vice President, accompanied by top government officials, visited the APC Chairman at his residence in Kano to offer his condolences and sympathize with the family over the loss.
While consoling the APC Chairman, VP Shettima described Hajiya Maryam as a kind and compassionate person who would be deeply missed by all who knew her.
He prayed for the repose of her soul .
Responding, Ganduje thanked the Vice President for the visit, describing it as a testament to the strong bond between the party leadership and the government.
