Justice sector reform recieves 225 complains in 3 months in Jigawa

The Jigawa state Justice sector and law reform commission said, it received no fewer than 225 complains from citizens mostly less privilege people within three months of January to March 2024.
This was announced by the executive secretary Jigawa state Justice sector and law reform commission Barrister Aisha Sulaiman Jahun while delivering her remarks at the free legal aid day organised by the commission in partnership with Ministry of Justice and the district head of Dutse.
Barrister Aisha explained that, the free legal aid include legal information, advices and legal support for free across the state.
According to her, the purpose is to raise awareness on free legal services given to the people by the commission for their complains around divorce, marriage, maintainance and any other type of maltreatment.
She added that, the commission recieved complains through their centres located in 10 local governments.
