Abuja bomb blast claims New Telegraph’s Managing Editor, Suleiman Bisalla

The management of New Telegraph newspapers yesterday announced the gruesome death of its Managing Editor (Northern Operations) Malam Suleiman Bisalla at the age of 46.

In a press statement, issued yesterday by the Managing Director/Editor-In-Chief of New Telegraph, Mr. Gabriel Akinadewo, Bisalla died in the bomb blast that occurred at the EMAB Plaza, Wuse 2, Abuja yesterday.

“Until December 2013, when he joined New Telegraph, Bisalla was a Deputy Editor and Political Editor with the Daily Trust newspapers, Abuja.

A statement issued by his elder brother, Mohammed Bisalla said he will be laid to rest today, June 26, according to Islamic rites.

Mr. Akinadewo described Bisalla as a thorough bred and hardworking journalist, who will be greatly missed by the company and prayed to Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
