Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo have held a closed door meeting with former Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar together with General Aliyu Gusau in Minna.
Findings revealed that the meeting was held in IBB’s uphill Manson in Minna which sources said may not be unconnected with pressing national issues that bordered on the current economic challenges and insecurity bedeviling the country.
It was gathered that Obasanjo who flew in from Benin City, where he attended the 90th birthday of the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, immediately headed to Minna Niger state capital.
It was also reliability gathered that General Abdulsalam Abubakar reportedly flew in from Abuja who also joined them in the meeting together with former National Security Adviser (NSA), General Aliyu Gusau (rtd), was also among those in the meeting.
The four elder statesmen and former Nigerian Army Generals were in a closed-door meeting for about an hour before Obasanjo left Minna around 6:30pm through the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu International Airport, Minna.
