From Yakubu Mustapha Minna

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Niger State Command has described as false, misleading and unfounded post circulating on social media, alleging involvement of one of its personnel in supplying rifles to bandits.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Abubakar Rabiu Muti.
It advised the public to verify information through official channels before sharing.
Rabiu Multi explained that the incident nearly a decade old, was a malicious setup aimed at tarnishing the good reputation of the Corps, while urging the public to disregard the fake information and refrain from sharing or circulating it further.
He maintained that the alleged officer in question has been exonerated by a competent court of law, with a subsisting court judgment and order clearing him of any wrongdoing.
