Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has frowned at negative comments made by member of the House of Representatives for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Hon. Philip Agbese describing his administration as ‘den of demons’.
Recalled that Rep Agbese while receiving a former aide of the Governor Moses Mkenemen who resigned as Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Youth Mobilization said, ‘my brother, welcome back from the ‘den of demons’.
Also, Agbese had sometime ago, removed the Governor’s picture from his office at the National Assembly.
Reacting to the comments, the Governor through his Chief Press Secretary Tersoo Kula lamented over his attitude, noting that it is abnormal, adding that, there is urgent need to check his mental status.
“Agbese also accused the Governor of shunning a peace meeting which was at the instance of the President. We have no idea where he got that information. Agbese cannot claim to have ears more than the Governor and if a meeting is summoned, why must it be to the knowledge of Agbese?
