WOFAN provides 40 wheel chairs to people with disabilities

The Executive Director in charge of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) known as Women Farmers Advancement Network (WOFAN), Hajiya Dr. Salamatu Garba, has provided a total number of 40 Wheel chairs to the people with disabilities in Abaji, Gwagwalada and Kwali of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The super trainer of NGO in the FCT, Docas Idowu Sunday Ibrahim, disclosed this on behalf of the Executive Director while speaking to newsmen after the distribution of wheel-chairs to the disabled people in Gwagwalada on Tuesday.
She said the Executive Director of WOFAN had distributed a lot of fertilizers to the farmers across the six Area Councils in the FCT in order to boost food production in the territory.
She added that the Executive Director had trained so many farmers in Agriculture, pointing out that the Executive Director had been training the extension workers in the FCT.
