Kaduna State Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe has said her party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) is on track to emerge victorious in the forthcoming chairmanship and councillorship on 19th October, in Kudan and Ikara local government of the state.
She asserted this during the flag-off of the campaign today in Kudan and Ikara local government areas.
Speaking to the major crowd, Dr. Hadiza said this is a testament that the chairmanship candidate, Dauda Iliya Abbah, and his councilors are welcome.
She added that the incoming council executives will continue to sustain Governor Uba Sami’s agenda in rural areas, which will benefit the grassroots. She, therefore, called for every eligible voter to come out and vote on election day to ensure their victory.
She advisee residents, especially the youth, to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner and with free elections.
Similarly, at the Ikara local government, while presenting Hon. Bashir Mammah Gogon Koli and his councilors, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe tasked the incoming chairman to run an inclusive government when elected and uphold the trust the people have in them.
In his remark, chairmanship candidate Dauda Iliya Abbah Hunkuyi said he appreciates the efforts and love the people have for the great APC party and him; according to him, they are working closely with the people in the local government and committed to educating voters on the significance of casting their votes on election day.
Stressing that, he will not disappoint Senator Uba Sani for the privilege and support I and the party have shown to him, saying he will continue to uphold the Governor’s agenda and pledge to carry out all of his duties with every sense of responsibility if elected.
In his speech, Bashir Mammah Dongo Koli said, it is a new dawn for the people of Ikara as his administration when elected, will make sure that the people rip the dividend of Kaduna.
