Ademola Lookman hit two goals in 30 minutes to lead Atalanta to a 3-0 win over Napoli on Sunday afternoon.
Lookman scored via a superb strike in the 9th minute of the game taking advantage of slack defending in the Napoli box.
He scored his second through a ferocious drive as he made space for himself after cutting in from the left.
The Super Eagles forward continued to dominating run in the Serie A scene in 2024, solidifying his position as the league’s most impactful player with 17 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
His stellar performance reached new heights today as he scored twice within the first 30 minutes against league leaders Napoli, marking a significant milestone.
Prior to today’s match, Napoli boasted a formidable defensive record, having conceded just two goals in their previous 10 matches.
However, Lookman’s remarkable form proved too much for their defense, as he single-handedly matched that total in just 31 minutes, demonstrating his exceptional attacking prowess.
Reteggui scored a late third, as Atalanta are now 3 points behind Napoli who still leads the standings.
