We’ll ensure peace in Mangu —-LG boss

The Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bala Mwolpun, said his administration is working tirelessly to ensure that peace fully returns to all communities in the local government.
A statement issued ar the weekend by Jeremiah Dakahap,
Director of Press and Publicity to the Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government, said the chairman stated this while
receiving the United States institute of Peace network of facilitators of Nigeria, in collaboration with Plateau Peace building agency in his office in Mangu.
The statement said the chairman commended the Agency for its impactful and transformative programs in the local government and the state at large, emphasizing that the importance of peace cannot be overstated.
He said his doors are always opened for more dialogue.
He promised to partner with the Agency, leveraging on their expertise to foster community engagement and harmony.
Earlier, the team leader, Mrs Lola Raji said they have been on peace initiative programs in Mangu local government for the past one year, and rounded up yesterday by engaging all critical stakeholders in an interactive session on civil military relations.
