Gombe traditional rulers pledged support to end gender based violence

Traditional rulers in Gombe state have pledged support to ensure that the menace of gender based violence against women and children are eliminated.
His royal highness Mai Tangle Mal. Danladi Sanusi Maiyamba stated this on Friday in Billiri during the sensitisation campaign that was carried out by the ministry of women affairs and social development to end the menace in the area.
He assured support of traditional institutions to join the crusade in fight against the menace.
The monarch also showed concerned with the gesture which he said there is urgent need for government to create a special court from state to local government levels that will handle cases regarding gender based violence.
