The Jigawa state First Lady Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi gave an urgent directive to save life of seven years old raped victim in Jigawa state.
The wife of the governor announced the decision immediately after the victim’s videos became viral from Murtala Muhammad Hospital Kano, seeking for someone to save her life.
Hajiya Namadi said, with permission from his excellency the Jigawa state governor, a special team was sent from Jigawa to meet with the victim and her parents, medical team in the hospital and recommend on how to save the victim’s life.
The First Lady, maintained that, the Jigawa governor also directed for the transfer of the victim from Murtala Muhammad Hospital Kano to Aminu Kano Teaching hospital Kano for better treatment and medication.
“While given the directives of sending the team, the state governor promised to take care of the all expenses for the victim up to the time she recovered”, she said.
