The Social Democratic party, SDP, has reiterated its readiness to reposition the party’s structures for a rigorous strategic political strive ahead of 2027 general elections in Adamawa state.
State Publicity Secretary of the party (SDP), Hon.Ibrahim Ahijo Karlahi disclosed the position through a crucial meeting’s communique by the state executive committee of the party in Yola weekend, stressing that stringent resolutions on the state of party were extensively deliberated on.
In the communique made available to the media, the party confirmed that, the 2023 governorship candidate remains the leader of the party in the state while Rt.Hon.Wamfari Theman is the North East National Vice Chairman of the party.
The party also resolved to promote unity and harmony amongst the membership as well as leadership affirming that, SDP is a progressive political platform open to all citizens in the state and country at large for all to join.
According to the communique,the party has analyzed the mistakes committed in the last 2023 elections while consulting far and near with critical stakeholders with a view to wrestle power from the ruling opposition parties in the state.
