2027: PDP will takeover Benue in 2027 – Chieftain

Date:

From Uche Nnorom, Makurdi

A chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP in Benue State, Chief Bemgba Iortyom has expressed unshakeable belief that the party in 2027 will be the decisive political platform for producing the next governor of Benue State.

Chief Iortyom who said in a statement titled ‘Stepping Forward’ made available to the media at the weekend in Makurdi, posited that this is possible especially given the very glaring acrimonious circumstances of governance of the state and vanguard politics under the watch of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He averred a firm conviction that the commencement of gubernatorial activities in the Benue PDP will serve as a catalyst to uniting the party’s followers across the state and provide antidote to the skirmishes seen in its ranks which are far less in gravity than the full blown war currently ravaging APC in the state.
