Federal University of Technology, Minna has matriculated 7,099 students out of the 7,750 candidates offered admission through both direct entry and Post -UTME for 2024/2025 academic session.
The Vice Chancellor of FUT, Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta made the disclosure during the 37th matriculation ceremony held at the Gidan Kwanu campus in Minna, saying that a total of 11,109 candidates applied for admissions in to the institution this year.
He warned the matriculating students against involving themselves in any kind of social vices like examination malpractices, cultism, drug abuse among others.
Represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Abdullahi Mohammed emphasized that the institution placed high value on discipline, integrity, personal development and told them to dress decently in line with the university’s dress code.
He told the new students that their academic journey will be one of growth, discovery, and transformation, assuring of good learning environment design to support their academic and professional development.
