Luft Pay TV officially launch, offers simplified subscription model

Date:

Luft Pay TV was yesterday launched in Lagos, officially making its entry into Nigeria’s competitive pay television market with the promise of accessible, affordable, and locally-relevant entertainment.

The launch event was attended by media executives, content creators and mmindustry stakeholders.

Speaking at the unveiling, Mr Yemi Adebowale, Head of Corporate Communications and Media at Luft Pay TV, said the platform was developed to meet the growing demand for quality home entertainment at a fair price.

He said Luft Pay TV aims to distinguish itself with high-definition content, premium children’s programming, and a strong focus on indigenous stories.

“This brand is not just delivering television, it is delivering trust, clarity, and connection,” Adebowale said.

The pay TV service offers a single bouquet model priced at N7,500 monthly, granting access to over 35 premium channels across genres such as sports, Nollywood, Hollywood, kids, documentaries, music and lifestyle.

According to the company, the decoder costs N25,000, while a full set-top box kit with accessories is priced at N35,000. It said this model eliminates multiple subscription tiers and hidden charges, offering a more user-friendly experience.

Adebowale noted that Luft Pay TV is a wholly Nigerian-owned brand and is committed to promoting local storytelling through partnerships with indigenous content creators.

He added that the company had already commenced installations across cities and towns in Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, supported by a growing sales and distribution network.
