Daniel Kwali pledges to present people’s oriented budget

The speaker of the legislative arm of Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),Hon. Nuhu Daniel, has pledged topresent people’s oriented budget to the people of kwali and its environs if elected in 2026 as the chairman of the Area Council.

He also said if elected in 2026 he would provide a conducive environment for the people of the communities and chiefdoms where they would contribute their quota on how to plan the budget.

The speaker, who made the promise while speaking to newsmen after he declared his intention to  contest for the chairmanship in APC in Kwali central Ward.

He said if given the mandate he would provide purposeful leadership capable of satisfying the aspirations  of the people in Kwali as well as the people from the grassroots level.

He added that if elected his administration would deem it necessary to focus on peace and security of the people in the area, as he promised to carry the people of Kwali and its environs along irrespective of their tribal and religious inclinations.

He then pointed out that his leadership would build on the developmental strides of the present chairman of the council, Hon. Danladi Chiya, saying that he would woo investors to kwali in order to build companies/industries for the sake of development.

Daniel, however, called on the other APC chairmanship aspirants to join hands with him to work for APC in 2026 FCT Area council election if given the mandate, and thanked the people of Kwali Central Ward for their support.

Also speaking, the Local Education Authority (LEA) secretary in kwali, Hon. Bawa Mohammed, advised all the APC chairmanship aspirants to support the candidate that the party executives have given the ticketsaying that politics is not a do-or- die affair.

The LEA secretary, therefore, appealed to the party executives to choose the right candidates who will deliver APC in Kwali Area Council.
