Phrank Shaibu, Special Assistant on Public Communication to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has said opposition politicians including Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi and ex-governors Nasir El-Rufai and Rotimi Amaechi, are teaming up to defeat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Shaibu said Atiku, Obi, Amaechi and El-Rufai are determined to unite and rescue Nigeria.

He hinted that Tinubu is likely to lose the 2027 presidential election due to rising hunger and economic hardship.

The former Vice President’s aide stated this in a statement he signed on Tuesday.

Shaibu said Tinubu’s administration is a group of “urban bandits” who attained power through the instrumentality of manipulation rather than merit.

“From Atiku to Obi, from Amaechi to el-Rufai, they are uniting — not just to win, but to rescue.

“The Urban Bandits may have mocked their hashtags, but they will soon learn that hashtags grow into hurricanes.”

Shaibu stressed that the opposition would emerge victorious in 2027, because “the robbed will rise with the people behind them”.

“No amount of propaganda can cover hunger. No PR can spin poverty,” he said.

“When salaries are worthless, businesses are folding, and hope is taxed, no billboard or ‘thank you’ rally can save you.”

He said the APC government promised “Renewed Hope” but delivered “Renewed Hardship”.
