A collection of 40 paintings by an 11-year-old boy from Norfolk has been valued at £400,000 by a gallery.
Kieron Williamson, from Ludham, has been painting since he was five and his latest collection will go on show at Picturecraft in Holt this weekend.
It will be Kieron’s ninth exhibition and will also mark 40 years since the death of East Anglian artist Edward Seago, one of his major influences.
The 40 new paintings are a mixture of oils, watercolours and pastels.
The gallery believes the pictures on show will be sold for about £400,000.
The exhibition includes paintings of a reed cutter in the Broads, familiar landmarks such as St Benet’s Abbey and townscapes.
Also included are scenes from other parts of England including Cornwall, where he bought his first box of paints when he was five years old.
This started him on a career that has so far earned him more than £2m.
He now wants to travel abroad to paint, he said.
His parents Michelle and Keith said they had hired a financial adviser to help with his earnings as he was liable for corporation tax “10 years before any of his peers would be”.
