Expert calls for support, care for elderly

Dr. Ibrahim Bananu, a Consultant in Family Medicine at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria has urged the relatives of elderly citizens to provide essential support and care to alleviate their suffering.
In an interview with the media in Zaria, Dr. Bananu emphasized the crucial role that family members play in enhancing the well-being of elderly individuals.
Dr. Bananu highlighted the significance of social interaction, regular exercise, and emotional support in improving the health and overall well-being of elderly people. He encouraged families to accompany their aging relatives to health facilities for regular medical checkups and necessary treatments.
