The Kaduna State Government, under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, has launched 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to help alleviate transportation challenges faced by residents. This initiative, part of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), aims to provide affordable, safe, and sustainable transportation to thousands of commuters daily.

A statement from Abdulazeez Farida Yetunde of the Communication Unit for RAAMP was shared with the media in Kaduna today.

According to the statement, many residents regard the new buses as a significant blessing. Amina, a civil servant, stated, “Before, I spent half my salary on transportation. Now, I can save for my children’s school fees.” Similarly, Bello, a student, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I no longer miss school because of bus fare. These buses are truly a blessing.”

The introduction of these buses is also creating job opportunities for drivers, conductors, maintenance crews, and ticketing agents. Fatima, a petty trader, noted, “I sell food by the bus stop, and my business has tripled since the new buses arrived.”

Governor Uba Sani’s leadership style emphasizes service over self-interest. His humility, community-focused initiatives, and unifying approach are transforming governance in Kaduna State. The launch of the CNG buses demonstrates his commitment to improving the quality of life for residents.

Powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), these buses are both eco-friendly and cost-effective. This initiative reflects a vision for innovation and sustainability in Kaduna under Governor Uba Sani.
