Zamfara: 50 shortlisted candidates screened for 2025 BUA cement scholarship

BUA Cement in collaboration with the Zamfara State Scholarship Board has successfully conducted the screening exercise for 50 shortlisted candidates under the 2025 BUA Cement Scholarship Programme.
The aim was to verify the eligibility and credentials of the shortlisted indigene applicants drawn from various tertiary institutions.
The exercise reflects the BUA’s continued commitment to supporting education and empowering young people in Zamfara State and the nation at large.
Speaking after the successful event, the Executive Secretary Zamfara State Scholarship Board, Professor Rasheedah Liman, thanked the Lead from BUA Cement, Malam Rabiu Maska and his team for the opportunity given to the selected students.
She reconfirmed Governor Dauda Lawal’s commitment to the educational development of Zamfara State.
According to her, “We hope to deepen the partnership with BUA for a mutual and sustainable growth of both parties. Our goal is to create a society where education strives and development is sustainable and for the benefit of all.
Professor Liman, further thanked the good people of Zamfara State for their patience, cooperation and support of the government.
