Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, will on Friday perform the groundbreaking ceremony for three major industrial and agric-based projects valued at $88.5 million expected to generate at least 11,000 jobs in the state.
Ibrahim A. Abdullahi, Managing Director of Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA), while speaking ahead of the ground breaking ceremony, affirmed that the projects are designed to boost industrial capacity, enhance agricultural value chains and deepen private-sector investment in Nasarawa State.
The three components of the projects to be flagged off are; a High-End Security Prints Facility to produce secure documents for domestic and African markets, a Paper Production Plant to manufacture environmentally friendly paper products and support local industries and an Organic Agric-Village and Value-Chain Centre aimed at expanding agricultural cultivation and providing raw materials for processing and downstream industries.
The NASIDA boss described the integrated projects as a significant step in strengthening innovation, agribusiness, and economic development under Governor Sule’s leadership.
He said all three projects are being promoted by an entrepreneur, Abdullahi Girei, who is the Chairman/Managing Director of Euphoria Press Limited.
The agency added that the groundbreaking ceremony will reinforce Nasarawa State’s commitment to private-sector–driven growth, noting that the presence of invited dignitaries will further underscore the government’s resolve to attract sustainable investments into the state.
Governor Sule is expected to be joined at the event by top government officials, investors, and representatives of the Euphoria Group at the ceremony commencing at 9.00 a.m. at the Euphoria project site along the Akwanga–Keffi Expressway in Keffi LGA.
