Abuja, Nigeria – December 26, 2025 – The Afe Global Development Foundation, a leading humanitarian organization, successfully concluded its 13th annual Cookout initiative, a flagship program dedicated to feeding the less privileged in Nigeria. This year’s event, held on December 26, 2025, brought together compassionate individuals, organizations, and communities to make a tangible difference in the lives of 2,000 vulnerable Nigerians.
Under the visionary leadership of Founder Elvis B. Orejobi, the Afe Global Development Foundation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to alleviating hunger and promoting sustainable development in Nigeria. This year’s Cookout initiative, coordinated by National Coordinator John Onyema and friends, reached out to street dwellers, motherless children, and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the Federal Capital Territory, providing them with nutritious meals and spreading joy during the festive season.
“We are thrilled to have reached 2,000 individuals this year, a testament to the power of collective efforts in making a meaningful impact,” said Elvis B. The Cookout initiative is a reflection of the foundation’s dedication to addressing food insecurity and promoting social welfare in Nigeria. The event featured the distribution of food packs, medical supplies, and other essential items to the beneficiaries.
