The family of late actress, producer and singer, Allwell Ademola, has announced details of her burial arrangements following her death on December 27, 2025. She passed away at the age of 49.

In a press release shared on social media by her colleagues, Rotimi Salami and Biola Adebayo, the family outlined a series of activities to honour the late actress.

According to the statement, events will commence on Thursday, January 8, 2026, with a Service of Songs and a Candle Night procession. The Service of Songs is scheduled to hold from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, after which preparations for the Candle Night will begin immediately. The Candle Night procession will take place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, moving from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and back to LTV 8. This will be followed by an Artistes’ Night, with closing remarks expected at 11:00pm.

The burial service is slated for Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos, and will commence at 10:00am. Attendees are expected to depart for their respective homes after the interment.

The family also announced dress codes for the ceremonies. Guests attending the Candle Night on Thursday are requested to wear white shirts with jeans, while all-white attire has been designated for the burial service on Friday.

Allwell Ademola was widely celebrated for her contributions to the Nigerian film industry, featuring prominently in numerous English and Yoruba films over several decades.

Her death has continued to draw tributes from colleagues and fans across the entertainment industry.
