Celebrity barman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Okechukwu made the announcement in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, revealing his plan to represent Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State.
“I stopped by our great party state secretariat to congratulate and encourage our state working committee on their emergence. Above all, I made known to them my humble aspiration to represent my people at the Federal House of Representatives. Na God get power, let His will be done,” he wrote.
In the video, the socialite said he visited the All Progressives Congress state secretariat to appreciate party leaders and formally notify them of his ambition.
“I’ll be running for the office of the Federal House of Representatives. All I ask for is your blessings,” he said.
He also urged party members to remain united, calling on them to work together in pursuit of shared political goals.
Okechukwu’s declaration comes amid his involvement in the City Boy Movement, a political support group aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 elections, where he serves as the Imo State Director.
