The Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has urged residents of 27 local government areas of Jigawa to join the ruling All progressive Congress (APC) as party membership registration continues across the country.
Governor Namadi also called on Jigawa citizens to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voters Card (PVC) registration exercise in order to participate actively in the democratic process ahead of 2027 general elections.
In a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Hajiya Zainab Shu’aibu Rabo, described Voter’s Card as major elements to decide for their future.
He emphasized that the PVC registration exercise, which commenced some time ago, remains open and accessible.
During a Media Tour of the project site, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North-West), Hon. Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, reassured host communities of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration’s resolve to provide adequate security to enable uninterrupted and speedy completion of the project. “As you can see, there is a strong security presence around this project,” he emphasised.
